When was the last time you truly relaxed? Lay down, switched off and let your mind go for an hour?


Many people start coming for acupuncture for physical ailments and carry on coming because of the mental benefits they experience too.


During your sessions we start by having a chat about what’s going on and what’s brought you to acupuncture. Simply having someone who’s invested in supporting you towards better health listen to you, can be the beginning of the healing process. This is followed by time out for you to lie down while the fine needles gently do their work of rebalancing your body.


The human body’s preferred state of existence is homeostasis (1), and when things get out of balance we can feel unwell. Acupuncture enhances the ability of the human body to self-medicate (2). It is also deeply relaxing, which in itself supports the healing process.
